How coverage and evidence labels will be recorded. Not a safety score.

Standing rules

These labels describe the record. They are not a safety score.

Research Confidence describes evidence coverage. It does not mean an operator is safe.
Verified means a specific source check succeeded. It is not a general endorsement.
Unknown remains unknown. Missing evidence is not filled in.
Check times and change times belong to the records they describe.
Commercial relationships cannot buy a research conclusion.
VenueVeritas does not recommend a venue or tell a reader to trade.

Research Confidence describes how much of a file is backed by checked sources.

It is not a Venue Risk Score and not a recommendation.

These levels describe evidence, not ranking.

Labels describe the record. They do not invent missing facts.

Primary source: The claim cites an original register, disclosure or incident record.
Regulatory record: A public supervisory or licence record is cited for that specific claim.
Incident record: A publicly recorded operational or security event is cited as such.
Record not current: A previously cited record is no longer treated as current.
Limited research: The file does not yet have enough checked sources for a fuller statement.
Identity review: Operator identity or entity mapping still requires a source check.

A cited licence or registration is a record about that named entity.

It does not mean every product, market or user is covered by that record.

Custody, insurance, proof-of-reserves or compensation claims are recorded only when sourced.

Absence of a protection claim is not treated as proof that protection exists or does not exist.

Coverage describes how much of a file is filled. It is not a ranking.

Listed only: The name is on a list. Material claims remain unpublished.
Basic: Identity and a small set of sourced facts are on the file.
Regulatory: Public regulatory records are attached to the relevant entities.
Fuller file: Material monitoring categories have sourced records or explicit unknowns.

Verification is a check against a cited source at a recorded time.

A successful check is not a permanent certificate.

Each check time belongs to the record it describes.

An old check is not rewritten as current.

Facts without a source stay unpublished.

Unpublished is not a hidden negative ranking.

Methodology, sources, corrections and independence stay on the public record.
