Crypto.com Alternatives — Evidence Comparison

Alternative venues are shown for evidence comparison and are not recommendations. They are included because published evidence attributes differ from Crypto.com — not because Crypto.com is “bad”, and not because of commercial relationships.

Why these venues are included

Each candidate differs from Crypto.com on at least one published evidence attribute (regulation, legal-entity mapping, PoR, custody, geographic records, products, or completeness). Inclusion is deterministic from the public snapshot.

What remains unresolved

Open questions and missing domains stay unknown. An empty cell is not a safety finding.

  • Crypto.com: HISTORICAL only: Mazars AUP as of 2022-12-07 still hosted. Re-check 2026-09-13 found no newer dated official Exchange PoR / attestation / wallet disclosure snapshot. STALE as current reserve evidence — do not present as current.
  • Crypto.com: Status page located; no dated material incident structured (status≠incident)
  • Ondo Perps: Ondo Global (Panama) Inc. appears in terms; no regulator authorization packaged. Jurisdiction code still null. Re-audited 2026-09-13: keep THIN; do not invent fills.
  • Ondo Perps: DEX/interface custody language not confirmed SAFE for structured claim this phase; 0002D deferred
  • Aster: Terms/Privacy remain brand-only 'Aster'; no discrete corporate legal name confirmed. Re-audited 2026-09-13: keep THIN; do not invent fills.
  • Aster: No regulator licence/registration identifier found; Terms prohibit jurisdictions but do not establish authorization record
  • HTX: Current HTX Platform User Agreement defines contracting parties as collective 'HTX Operators' (legal persons/DAO/unincorporated organisations/teams) without naming a single global operator company. Do not inherit Huobi Global Limited / Huobi Global S.A. as current HTX operator without a current primary source tying that name to today's platform.
  • HTX: No regulator-register row attachable: named current global HTX operator entity still unresolved. Legacy Huobi licence claims from secondary news not applied.

Limitations

This is not a “best alternative” ranking. Evidence differences can change as records are re-verified. Regional records do not imply global approval.
