Licence, registration, authorization, and exemption are different instrument classes. VenueVeritas publishes the class as it appears on the primary source — it does not upgrade a registration into a licence.

Why it matters
- Marketing pages often say “licensed” when the register shows a registration or notification.
- Instrument class changes what the record can and cannot prove.
Read the instrument, not the adjective
Start from the named legal entity, then the regulator, then the instrument class and identifier.
If the class is unknown on the public record, it stays unknown.
Limitations
- National registers use different vocabularies; VenueVeritas does not harmonize them into a single global licence type.
